The management, players and officials of Abubakar Bukola Saraki FC (ABS FC) have commended and congratulated one of their reliable strikers, Akeem Audu, who just completed his Educational Management course at the Better by Far University, University of Ilorin.
In a statement signed by the General Manager of the club, Alloy Chukwuemeka commended Audu for not disappointing and betraying the trust reposed on him by the club throughout his study at the University.
According to Chukwuemeka, ‘ABS FC is a club that always thinks of you and your future. We encourage players and officials to educate themselves and also, stand by them to do just that’, he explained.
‘We have done that to many players, and I will want to use this opportunity to charge other players to think about life after football, especially as the club will always be ready to assist their course’, he added.
He thanked the Chairman and Proprietor of the club Senator Abubakar Bukola Saraki (CON) for his support and cooperation towards empowering the youths through the platform.
Akeem Audu, who was admitted into the institution in 2010, thanked Saraki, the club management, coaches and players for supporting him.
‘I’m very happy because it’s a great achievement for me, combining education with football. I am really grateful to all of them’.
‘it’s a lifetime achievement for me to work under Saraki. He has done a lot in the lives of youths in the state and Nigeria, and I am happy to be one of the beneficiaries’, he said.
Audu dedicated the achievement to Saraki and all ABS FC family throughout Nigeria, promising to reciprocate the gesture by working hard to ensure the promotion of the club. However, An elated Akeem Audu basking in the euphoria of his first Degree certificate was at his best today as he scored a brace that gave ABS FC an emphatic 2-0 victory over visiting stationery stores from Lagos at the kwara stadium Ilorin.
