Nigeria international Odion Ighalo increased his goal tally to five in the Chinese Super League, after netting four times to help Changchun Yatai claim a 5-2 victory at Guizhou Hengfeng.


The striker fired past the hosts’ goalkeeper from the penalty spot to open scoring, Du Wei equalized, but Long Tan and Ighalo struck before the break to give Changchun a 3-1 lead.

Wang Fan gave Hengfeng hopes of a comeback when he scored on the hour mark, but Ighalo added two late goals to put the game beyond the home team.
