Prior to Sunday’s game, the Nigerian international had not scored for the Gunners since January 20, against Crystal Palace.
Iwobi scored in style, as Arsene Wenger took charge of his last game at the Emirates Stadium, controlling Pierre Aubameyang’s cutback before firing into the roof of the net.
The 22-year-old expressed his excitement over game on, writing on Twitter: “This Was More Than A Match! Really Pleased We Gave You The Send Off You Deserve. Thank You Boss ❤️#MerciArsene.”
