Kelechi Iheanacho was on target in Leicester City’s 3-1 win over 10-man Arsenal at the King Power Stadium on Wednesday.
The Nigerian international — handed a rare Premier League start — opened the scoring in the 14th minute when he pounced to slam past Petr Cech at the near post after Fousseni Diabate headed back Christian Fuch’s cross.
Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang equalised for Arsenal, but further goals from Jamie Vardy and Riyan Mahrez secured the Foxes a 3-1 win.
Iheanacho’s international teammate Alex Iwobi was in action for Arsenal. The 22-year-old played for 84 minutes.
