Nigeria international Ibrahim Alhassan has completed a move to Primeira Liga club Maritimo.
Alhassan, 21, joins the Portuguese club on a four-year deal from Austrian Bundesliga side Austria Wien.
The attacking midfielder attracted attention in Nigeria following a brilliant season with Akwa United. His displays earned him a move to Wien in August 2017, where he made four Europa League and over 20 league appearances.
He made his international debut in a friendly against Togo last year.
Speaking to the club’s media shortly after being presented to club faithful, the midfielder said: “I have huge will to play.”
“My football will speak for me,” he added, smiling.
