Christian Madu has joined CD Nacional from Enugu Rangers, the Portuguese club has confirmed.
The Nigerian, who won the Nigeria Premier League title with Rangers in 2016, has signed a four-year contract with the Madeira-based club.
Rangers also confirmed the move that will see the player represent the Alvinegro until June 2022.
“Our mercurial midfielder, Christian Madu (Onowu) has joined Portuguese side, CD Nacional in a four year deal. We wish Madu all the best with his new club,” the Enugu club tweeted.
The 25-year-old becomes the second Nigerian to arrive at Estadio da Madeira this summer, following the capture of Alhassan Ibrahim from Austrian club Austria Wien.
Madu, according to a club statement, will link up with his new teammates on Tuesday.
