Galatasaray striker Henry Onyekuru and FC Girondins de Bordeaux playmaker Samuel Kalu have arrived Nigeria training camp ahead of this weekend’s Africa Cup of Nations 2019 qualifier away to Seychelles.
Onyekuru, who has scored twice in three league games for the Yellow-reds, was the earliest arrival as the Super Eagles camp opened on Monday.
The 21-year-old has since been joined by Leicester duo Wilfred Ndidi and Kelechi Iheanacho as well as, Kenneth Omeruo, Samuel Kalu, Francis Uzoho, Semi Ajayi, Bryan Idowu, Chidozie Awaziem, Kelechi Nwakali, Simeon Nwankwo and Joel Obi; bringing the total number of arrivals to 12.
Arsenal winger Alex Iwobi, Udinese centre-back William Troost-Ekong and Torino defender Ola Aina have reportedly withdraw from the fixture, which is scheduled for Saturday, due to injuries.
Nigeria, who began the qualifying campaign with a 2-0 loss to South Africa in Uyo, will be aiming to secure a win against the east African country•
