Nigeria team news: only one change expected in line up vs Libya in AFCON qualifier

Gernot Rohr will lead Nigeria into their second game against Libya in three days, as the Super Eagles aim to qualify for the Africa Cup of Nations for the first time since 2013.

Nigeria beat Libya 4-0 on Saturday in Uyo through Odion Ighalo’s hat-trick and a late strike from Samuel Kalu.

On Tuesday, Libya, who are third in the group — two points behind Nigeria and three adrift of table-toppers South Africa — will be seeking a win in Sfax.

Shehu Abdullahi — who was stretchered off after just 18 minutes in Uyo — set to miss the game in Sfax, Ola Aina is favoured to take the Bursaspor player’s place in the starting XI. But the rest of the starters on Saturday are expected to keep their places.

Predicted Nigeria XI vs Libya: Francis Uzoho; Ola Aina, Leon Balogun, William Troost-Ekong, Jamilu Collins, Wilfred Ndidi, Alex Iwobi, Ahmed Musa (c), Samuel Kalu, Oghenekaro Etebo, Odion Ighalo
