FIFA rankings: Nigeria rise four places in latest FIFA world rankings

Nigeria have moved up to 44th in the latest FIFA rankings released on Thursday.

After back-to-back wins in the Africa Cup of Nations Qualifiers, the Super Eagles are now third in Africa — 22 places behind the continent’s highest-ranked team, Tunisia.

Senegal — Africa’s second in the rankings — are 25th.

Belgium sit top of the rankings, while World champions France come second.

Brazil, World Cup runners-up Croatia, and England are third, fourth and fifth respectively.
