Gunners flock to Twitter to praise Alex Iwobi for his impressive display against Liverpool

Arsenal fans have hailed Alexander Iwobi for his impact in the Gunners’ 1-1 draw with Liverpool at the Emirates stadium on Saturday.

Arsenal fell behind in the Premier League game when James Milner pounced on Bernd Leno’s poor clearance to score his 50th Premier League goal.

With less than 10 minutes left, it seemed the goal would bring Unai Emery men’s 13-match unbeaten run to an end.

But Alexandre Lacazette latched onto substitute substitute Alex Iwobi’s brilliant pass, turned away from goalkeeper Alisson Becker before curling just inside the far post.

After the game, Arsenal fans took to Twitter to heap praises on Iwobi for his brilliance after coming on in the game, with many saying he deserves to start week in, week out.
