Nigeria players abroad: Stephen Odey continues league scoring run as FC Zürich win at Luzern

Stephen Odey netted his fifth league goal of the season, as FC Zürich claimed a 5-2 win at Blessing Eleke’s Luzern.

Eleke — Odey’s compatriot — was on target, too. The youngster took his league tally to four goals for the season, while Odey fired in his fifth in the league and ninth in 18 games this season.

Odey, 20, restored Zürich’s lead after compatriot Eleke had cancelled Toni Domgjoni’s opening goal.

Benjamin Kololli and Antonio Marchesano then scored to extend the visitors’ lead.

Ruben Vargas scored on the stroke of 90 minutes to reduce the deficit, but Adrian Winter’s goal inside the first minute of stoppage time ensure that Ludovic Magnin’s men ran out 5-2 winners.
