Nigeria have maintained their 44th spot in the November edition of the FIFA rankings released on Thursday.
Following a 1-1 draw at South Africa in the Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers and a goalless draw with Uganda in a friendly, the Super Eagles have kept their status as Africa’s third highest-ranked team.
Tunisia, though, have been overtaken by Senegal as Africa’s highest-ranked team. The Teranga Lions moved up two places into 23rd position, while Tunisia dropped four places to 26th spot.
The top five spots have remained unchanged — Belgium have maintained their grip on top spot of the rankings, while World champions France, South America superpowers Brazil, World Cup runners-up Croatia and England are second, third and fourth respectively.
