Elche goalkeeper Francis Uzoho played for 90 minutes and kept a clean sheet on his comeback from injury on Sunday.
The Nigerian suffered a knock in a 5-1 loss at Cadiz on November 4, and had not featured for Los Illicitanos since then.
But on Sunday, the 19-year-old was back in the Elche starting XI, as the club aimed to record their first win since October 28.
However, they were forced to settle for a goalless draw at the Estadio Manuel Martínez Valero.
There were plenty chances in the La Liga 2 game, but neither side could hit the back of the net, even from the penalty spot — with Nick Blackman and Benja missing their penalties.
Elche owed their point largely to Uzoho, who made a number of stunning saves to deny the visitors.
The clean sheet was the on-loan goalkeeper’s third of the season.
