Samuel Chukwueze scored his first Europa League goal as Villarreal beat Spartak Moscow 2-0 to finish top of group G.

The 19-year-old netted his fourth goal of the season, latching onto a loose ball before picking his spot to put his side in front.

Karl Ekambi doubled the advantage in the second half, firing into the far post after a brilliant one-two with Pablo Fornals.

Chukwueze played for 80 minutes. He was replaced by Santi Cazorla.

Villareal finished as winners of the group, with Rapid Vienna — who beat Rangers 1-0 — coming second.

The two top teams were separated by goal difference.
