A late Eddy Gnahore goal cancelled Samuel Kalu’s first-half strike to deny Bordeaux all three points against Amiens in Ligue 1 on Sunday.
Kalu connected perfectly with Sergi Palencia’s lofted pass, heading past Regis Gurtner and into the far post for his first Bordeaux goal since a 3-3 draw with Nimes on September 16.
But with barely three minutes left, Gnahore flicked Bakaye Dibassy’s cross over Maxime Poundje before volleying in to earn the visitors a point.
Kalu, 21, has not quite lived up to expectations since moving to Nouveau Stade de Bordeaux in September.
Bordeaux have struggled all season and are just six points above the drop zone.
